We are looking to hire an Outside Sales Professional for our team!


The team member in this position will be responsible for creating and presenting persuasive sales proposals to promote new business and optimize sales from current accounts. They will contribute to the development of budgets, sales goals and growth opportunities that align with LPS’ strategic goals. They will also work on various other sales-related duties as assigned by their manager.


The successful candidate will thrive on the following:

  • Using effective communication, negotiation and deal closing skills to continually meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Providing excellent internal and external customer service daily; representing LPS in a highly professional manner with customers, vendors, and employees
  • Traveling within their assigned sales territory for face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies
  • Collaborating with other team members to expand brand presence through development of suitable marketing collateral.
  • Researching and understanding competitors’ products and pricing, as well as market conditions
  • Developing and maintaining deep knowledge of the latest industry developments through meetings, training workshops, and industry events.

What You Bring to the Job:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid previous sales experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to independently manage your workload, work under pressure and adjust to change
  • The capability of interacting professionally with all levels of an organization, both at Leonhardt Pipe and our customers and vendors.
  • Keen analytic and problem solving skills
